Flossie’s Bed & Breakfast is situated in Station Road, a quiet country lane in the heart of the village. The main house is a double-gabled building dating from 1901.
Both the village church, St James, which was built in 1846 and incorporates the remains of the original 13th/14th century church and Rotherfield Park, built in 1820, set in the lovely surrounding parkland, are literally on the doorstep.
The whole area is beautiful with softly rolling hills and rich with many places of interest to entice visitors.
London is 50 miles from the village, with regular trains departing on the Alton-London (Waterloo) mainline railway. The historic City of Winchester is 17 miles from East Tisted, Selborne 3 miles and Chawton, Jane Austen’s home, around 3½ miles.
There is easy road access to the South Coast Ferry terminals, Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
